Antwerp - Part II

Rubens - not the Formula 1 Ferrari driver, the London hotel, the sandwich and even less the American Idol - but Rubens the painter was no starving artist. His Antwerp home is a testimony to his "commercial" success. Rubenhuis is an Italian villa complete with Greek statues and French gardens in a Flemish city. Not many of Pieter Paul Ruben's works are displayed here. The portraits of plump, fuck-Lean-Cuisine, ladies hang elsewhere (London mostly).

Charlotte almost caused a diplomatic incident when she toddled across a rope barrier to touch a "horsey". She's attracted to anything "horse" and Ruben's pictorial renditions are vivid and life-like.
